open at bottom with a hinged topped
etched scroll pattern with "mirror" center

locket itself measures 1.5 inches X 1 inch
Gold plated locket is marked 12K
over silver
marked on reverse
chain is GF as well -18 inches in length with spring C-clasp.
lockets closes with a satisfying snap
great condition- light wear on the gold plated finish on the back
