handmade from a 30s or 40s RO silk kimono hitoe
intricately hand painted and embroidered with leaves, grasses, flowers and birds

RO silk kimono threads are separated and braided to give the silk a lighter feel and structure of lines for Summer wear
This dress has been fashioned out of a gorgeous RO silk kimono from the 30s or 40s
and the dress was made in 1950s fashion

cream silk, slightly sheer, a slip will be needed
pink, blues, grays and greens with hand-painted bird in yellow, black, pink and green
embroidery accents in white, tan and what most likely used to be gold

hi V-neck
ruched top shoulders, original hand made shoulder pads (removable)
wide yoke empire waist
soft gathered skirt
a-line skirt

side zipper closure
back loop and button closures at nape of neck
